About the programme:

The Master of Science Entrepreneurship and Innovation Degree is based upon the premise that the knowledge and skills needed to start-up a business and succeed can be taught while the attitudes required of entrepreneurs can be identified and encouraged. This is a knowledge-based programme whose aim is to provide students with practical knowledge about entrepreneurship and innovation as well as skills to turn such knowledge into practice.

 

The programme provides in-depth knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation studies with a focus on: the formation and management of new ventures; working in and managing in small businesses; entrepreneurial management in small firms; the role of government and other institutions in supporting entrepreneurship; contemporary issues in entrepreneurship and small business research. It is designed for the ambitious individual aiming to initiate small business ventures, and for those who are at the initial stages of a start-up wishing to grow their business to a maturity stage. It is also aimed at managers running existing businesses.

Entry Requirements:

Normal Entry

  • A First Degree; and
  • English; and Mathematics or equivalent.
