Summary of Profile

Dr Kichini is a lecturer for Managerial Economics, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Finance and Innovation Management in the Graduate School of Business under the Faculty of Commerce at Bindura University of Science Education. He has taught from junior secondary to postgraduate level for the past 29 years. In the last 18 years, he has lectured at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at various colleges and universities in Zimbabwe and South Africa. He also worked in the Ministry of Industry and International Trade as an Enterprise Development Principal Economist
and as well as a Chief Economist in the Ministry of Finance, mobilizing financing for Zimbabwean government programmes. His main areas of teaching and research interest are in entrepreneurship and innovation, SME financing, consumer behaviour, strategic management and socio-economic development in which a number of projects are underway. He has supervised student research work in these areas and reviewed research papers for a renowned journal on economics and management in Africa.
